It All Started with a Story
James and Emily first met in March 2018. It involved Emily hiding James' Juul from him and lecturing him on the health risks of vaping at a St. Patrick's Day Party, all while not even knowing each other's name. While Emily and James went their separate ways that night, James kept thinking about how beautiful Emily was.
A few months later, fate brought them together again at a birthday party at Hyde Park Cafe. This time, they were introduced by a mutual friend, Ricky, and hit it off immediately. James and Emily spent the night talking, and before she left, James bought her a slice of pizza. As she ate the pizza in her Uber ride, Emily couldn't help but think that James was the nicest boy she had ever met.
Emily and James started dating only a few weeks later. They went on countless movie and sushi dates, and visited each other at their universities. They explored the Florida Keys and visited the Grand Canyon together.
Finally, on July 3rd, 2021, James had the courage to ask Emily to marry him in the Florida Keys, and she said “yes!”
We are both so excited for all of you to join us at our destination wedding in April of 2024. See you soon and we love you all!
