JUAN & CHANTEL

It All Started with a Story 

Chantel and Juan met the modern way:  They met online with the same goal in mind, to meet "The One"! Their first date took place at Monarch restaurant in Del Mar, California —Chantel was late, and Juan continues to tease her about having to wait 25min. However, this evening turned into a 5hr long date because it was instant chemistry and an organically flowing conversation. It consisted of cozy chats by the fire and the night ending with a walk down to the beach under the full moon. Ever since that day, they've been inseparable. 

A few of Chantel and Juan's favorite memories from their time together: Practicing Yoga & Mindfulness, attending concerts, eating any and all types of cookies, laughing and playing with their two pups (Luna Bear & Maya Belle), coming up with fun date nights, doing weekly “check ins”, planning trips, supporting each other achieve their dreams while enjoying their time visiting the San Diego beaches.

Juan and Chantel's proposal was a beautiful beach sunrise proposal at the Mayan sanctuary of Ikal, Tulum Mexico. Juan hired a photographer to meet them at the beach and upon arriving, Chantel had an inkling of what was about to happen. As the sunrise painted the sky pink & orange with the light blue waves crashing down, and the salty air blowing, Juan got down on one knee! He got teary-eyed and almost forgot his entire speech. After uttering out some sentimental words, the ring was presented, hugs and kisses were shared, and it was a magically unforgettable experience.
