BRENNAN + JENNA 

Unsurprising to many, Jenna met the man she’d plan to spend the rest of her life with during an international pandemic! 

 

After a cheesy opening line from Brennan about sitting on a fort of toilet paper, Jenna still agreed to a Skype date. She and Brennan spent 3 hours that night getting to know each other. To their surprise, it went so well they set up another Skype date, with a theme, “cocktails and questions”. However this time, they talked for 8+ hours into the wee hours of the morning, during which time Jenna text her sister “I’m going to marry this man”. Several stay-at-home COVID dates and Netflix series later, Jenna and Brennan went on their first official date. Brennan took Jenna to a seafood place (her favorite) downtown where he confessed he didn’t like sharing his fries, but did agree to a wine country vacation in Napa! A week in Napa, learning about wine and each other created the perfect opportunity to solidify their love. It was this first vacation together where they found out they want to be forever travel partners! 

 

Brennan says the next 3 years were a whirlwind of adventures and discovery. Brennan learned that despite his confident presentation of “facts”, in actuality, he knew nothing of medicine or looking at a calendar and Jenna learned that people can survive without things being put back in the exact, measured, predetermined spot. They also learned that love is more than just a feeling, it is an act. They have acted out their love by standing by and with each other through long nights on call and months away of military training. Whether it is navigating medicine and the military or planning their next vacation getaway, Jenna and Brennan are excited to tackle every adventure, together. Oh, and Brennan says love has also taught him that he’s willing to share his fries now!
